Emily | Newborn

This little sugar plum slept right through her session. Isn’t she beautiful?! I am very proud of these images as no one would know that I was huddled inside a tiny kitchen using the lightest room in an apartment! It goes to show that a photographer (or should I say, I?) can make it work. This has to be one of my favourite newborn sessions to date.

Cockatoo Island | Sydney | Engagement | Arifa & Tom

I use to work with Arifa before pursuing my photography career, so you can imagine how thrilled I was when she contacted me about shooting her engagement and wedding! I love to shoot at new places, so I was so excited to visit Cockatoo Island for the first time for their engagement session. With a mix of old architecture, industrial warehouses and of course coastal views, you can’t go wrong with this location. It was a fun afternoon and it was great to get to know Arifa and Tom as a couple before their wedding.

Alondra | Newborn

I had the pleasure to photograph Alicia and Jose before their little blossom had arrived. It is always so rewarding to meet the little bubba that was a bump! Alondra, with her gorgeous dark hair, was such a super star for her session. With a couple of dress changes, she was surprisingly settled throughout her entire session. What a cutie!

Flat Rock | Wentworth Falls | Engagement | Melissa & Nick

Flat Rock at Wentworth Falls is such breathtaking spot. It is very common to see a bride and groom making use of the views! Melissa and Nick chose this spot for their engagement session. We had a lovely time as the sun set behind the mountains. This location has such an earthy and rich feel. I love it. I can’t wait for Mel and Nick’s wedding in October.

Sydney Royal Botanic Gardens | Engagement | Amy & Adam

Amy and Adam chose the Opera House and the Sydney Royal Botanic Gardens for the backdrop of their engagement session. Adam proposed at the Opera House, so this is rather a special spot! These two were so much fun to work with and I am so very much looking forward to their wedding in March. Not long to go guys!

INDIANA | NEWBORN

Indiana was 6 weeks old at her newborn session. Yes, that’s right – 6 weeks! It just goes to show that the time frame that you are given to do your newborn session is just a guide and that older babies (exceeding 2 weeks) can be cooperative too! Babies are little people with their own agendas and though we can advise the best age to achieve the shots that you want, every now and again you get a little one that breaks the mould! Being a little older, Indiana has a gorgeous chubbiness to her and a little bit more character. Mum also had some very beautiful clothes for her to wear. She is just beautiful.

ROMEO | NEWBORN

This little prince was a super star at his newborn session. He slept through the entire session which meant that we were able to use a couple of different props. My heart melts looking at this little fellow. I guess his name is very fitting.

OVIYA & CLAVIYA | NEWBORN

I was so very excited to shoot a twin newborn session! Oviya and Claviya slept soundly during their shoot and we were able to achieve some beautiful images of the girls together and on their own. Little ones can be very unpredictable and sometimes one can be a handful. I was thrilled that Oviya and Claviya were little angels as I had some poses that I really wanted to do. One baby is already so delicious, so imagine two!

James | Newborn

James was such a good boy and slept right through his newborn session. During his shoot, we were able to use a couple of different hats, textures and props, including my vintage suitcase. James was a dream to work with and he gave us a few smiles.

Nielsen Park | Vaucluse | Engagement | Larissa & Rich

Larissa and Rich did some scouting for their engagement session. They chose the beautiful Nielsen Park in Vaucluse. This park has big, old trees, ornate sandstone buildings, gardens and the beach. So you can imagine that we went absolutely crazy using all the different backdrops that this location offers. Larissa and Rich have so much love for each other and I am so very much looking forward to their wedding in the beginning of 2015.
