Faith and Josh had a gorgeous wedding ceremony at Bicentennial Park in Homebush followed by a reception at WatervieW. The weather was absolutely perfect and I was so excited to get some beautiful light in the late golden hour. Faith’s flowers were incredibly vibrant and amazing! Favouring purple, (like me!) this glorious colour popped out through a few pieces of the day including the bridesmaids dresses, the flowers and the reception styling. It was a gorgeous day and I was blessed to capture it. Congratulations to the new MR & MRS Martin!

Adela is one of my youngest, oldest clients. I have had the pleasure of photographing Adela since she was two. Each year I have documented her as she has turned a year older. Her fifth year was no different to the others – Adela was as cheeky, as independent and as full of character as ever! I don’t know how she fits her big personality into her little body! And those dimples are so flippin’ cute!

It was so lovely to meet up with Kathy and Pieter again after their maternity session to photograph their baby girl, Charlotte. Charlotte slept for a very short time during her newborn session, but that didn’t stop us from getting some beautiful shots of her. She is such a pretty little sweetheart!

Ruby was a dream to photograph during her newborn session. She slept pretty much all the way through! Ruby was a little more than 3 weeks when did her session – An example that you can still achieve beautiful sleepy shots with  an older newborn. This little darling is incredibly cute.

With his big brown eyes and gorgeous smile, Noah was heart melting during his newborn session. He was going on 4 weeks so he didn’t sleep at all, but instead we got beautiful eyes and smiles. It is recommended to do a newborn session in the first 2 weeks, but it really depends on what you are wanting to capture – Itty bitty baby or a little more character? This little man’s going to be a heart throb when he’s older!

Anna and Ray had a pet friendly ceremony hosted at the Waldorf Resort in Leura. Their kids (fur babies) took part in the day, standing by the side of the bride and the groom during the walk down the aisle. It was important to them to have their dogs there. So to all of you animal lovers – This resort catered for and accommodated pets! This was a very colourful, winter wedding in the beautiful blue mountains. From the inclusion of their dogs, an amazing cake featuring a possum and a dog cake topper (Anna and Ray are also known as “Poss and Dog,”) and little pup cakes for the guests to take home to their fur babies, Anna and Ray packed their personalities into their special day. There is something so “Alice in Wonderland” in the gardens at this resort. The colours in the garden painted a beautiful backdrop.

Little Ivy wouldn’t sleep a peep at her newborn session. A sleepy baby is definitely much easier to position in poses. But as long as they are settled, you can get some lovely awake shots as seen here with Ivy.

We shot Kathy and Pieter’s maternity session at Mamre Homestead. This is a gorgeous location with gardens, trees and greenery as well as old train carriages. This location was also where they celebrated their engagement, so it was already sentimental. It was lovely to meet with this expecting couple and capture this special time. Keep your eyes peeled for their newborn photos!

Elijah was 8 weeks old when we did his session. At this age, it’s not technically a newborn session – (Newborn sessions are recommended in the first two weeks.) This little guy with his big eyes and smile was full of personality. He even drifted off to sleep for a minute so that we got some sleepy shots too. He was such a star for his session.
