Lennox Bridge | Glenbrook | Engagement | Sarah & Isaac

Lennox Bridge is a gorgeously green and leafy location. Escaping from the hustle and bustle, Sarah and Isaac enjoyed some time together at this gorgeous Blue Mountains location. It was lovely to meet them, hear their story and chat about their upcoming wedding. They were a little shy at first, but it didn’t take them long to relax and enjoy a good laugh or two.

Lincoln’s Rock | Wentworth Falls Lake | Engagement | Melissa & Jackson

We split Melissa and Jackson’s engagement session over two locations, starting at Wentworth Falls Lake and finishing at sunset at Lincoln’s Rock. We had a beautiful clear day and a gorgeous golden sunset (though it was cold, so Melissa was a trooper wearing a dress!)

It was so lovely to meet these two and get to know them a little more before their wedding. They are such sweethearts and I enjoyed capturing the love that they have for each other.

Mulgoa Lookout | Engagement | Nicole & Jonathan

Nicole and Jonathan chose Mulgoa Lookout for their engagement session. We were blessed with a clear sky and a dreamy sunset. This spot has become a favourite of mine. There is something really special about the way the sky glows in orange and red hues against the silhouette of the gum leaves.

It was great to chat, have a laugh or two and document some memories of this special chapter.

Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel | Wedding | Annette & Brad

Annette and Brad had a seaside ceremony in Watsons Bay. It was an overcast day and the rainclouds taunted us, but the rain held off and we were given perfect conditions for a gorgeous beach wedding (styled so beautifully by Darling Events.) The celebrations continued at Watsons Bay Hotel, at a glowing dinner party where the beautiful styling continued to impress. Elegant florals in white tones, mixed greenery with gold painted leaves, a combination of white & natural timber finishes and the golden glow of candlelight are just some of the features that made this wedding reception so warm and visually splendid. It was elegant and chic with a nod towards the beach.

It was such a pleasure to take part in this very special occasion and to witness so much love.

Australian Botanic Garden | Mount Annan | Wedding | Miriam & Jake

Miriam and Jake had a garden wedding at the Australian Botanic Garden followed by a DIY celebration on their family property. DIY weddings are one of our favourites as they are often unique and have the bride and groom’s original stamp on them. Having the majority of the wedding at Miriam’s parents home, also meant that their beloved fur baby, Charlie, made an appearance or two throughout the day (which was very special!)

The native gardens from the ceremony were reflected in Miriam’s bouquet and the floral arrangements of rich, red hues. A frenzy of colour continued on to the marquee reception that included a vintage festival vibe. A cosy arrangement of retro furniture, low banquet tables, crates, cushions and blankets made for the perfect setting to celebrate the day and enjoy delicious food and a vintage caravan bar.

As the day wore on, the marquee glowed under the starry night sky. Greenery draped from the ceiling with hanging glass candle teardrops – It was such a beautiful sight! The festivities carried on throughout the evening that included some traditional dancing to honour Miriam’s family heritage.

This wedding day was filled with love and a vibrant colour palette.

Bilpin Resort | Elopement | Nicole & Shannon

Nicole and Shannon didn’t care for the fuss of a big wedding day and opted for an intimate elopement in the very picturesque “secret circle” at Bilpin Resort. Surrounded by their daughters, their nearest and dearest relatives and the most enchanted setting, they committed their lives to each other. It was simple and sweet and exactly what they had hoped for.

Blue Mountains Botanic Gardens | Mount Tomah | Wedding | Nathalie & Izack

Nathalie & Izack had the prettiest garden ceremony at Mount Tomah Botanic Gardens. They were married beneath The Wedding tree that overlooked the beauty of the gardens and the Blue Mountains – It was breathtaking!

The celebrations continued on the premises at the Potager. The venue was beautifully styled and the views were mesmerising (especially at sunset!) It was a perfect spring day, followed by a fun filled evening where laughter and happy tears weren’t in short supply!

This wedding was such a dream to photograph.

Boxgrove | Bathurst | Wedding | Amanda & Tim

Amanda and Tim whisked away to the country side for their gorgeous garden wedding. They were married in the Rose Garden beneath a geometric arbor adorned with rustic florals. Surrounded by golden fields and rolling hills, Boxgrove really was the perfect setting to celebrate with their loved ones (and cruise around in Tim’s dad’s vintage car!) The day ended with the most beautiful sunset that welcomed a fun filled evening of laughter and celebration.

The Boxgrove team and some other amazing vendors really made this wedding sparkle. It was a visual treat!

The Nepean River | Maternity | Elli and John

It is so very special to follow my clients throughout their many chapters of life. I have captured memories for Elli and John from their engagement up until now as they anticipate the arrival of another precious baby. I must admit that my favourite maternity sessions are the ones that involve little ones that are preparing for a baby brother or sister. These are moments that will make your family history that are so special and dear.

The light at their session was ethereal. It worked so beautifully with the delicate, flowing outfits that Elli wore.
