This was a special wedding to shoot. It was at Aaron’s sister’s wedding in 2010 that I fell in love with photography and my journey began. So to be shooting Aaron’s wedding four years down the track was a real milestone for me! This was an intimate wedding with an afternoon tea and drinks to follow. Aaron and Natalie were a very chilled out bride and groom and to celebrate their marriage, they had a rock concert to attend to afterwards! It was a lovely day and I was blessed to shoot it. Congratulations to the new MR & MRS Cortese!

This was a fun session at Narrangingy Reserve. Lina & Tom are so fun to be around – I am really looking forward to capturing some more of their love and character on their wedding day.

It was so lovely to meet the new addition to Nick and Hailey’s little family – Allegra. At 13 days new, Allegra was so tiny and sleepy! – The perfect bub for a newborn sesh! She was so good for us and she is so breathtakingly gorgeous, see for yourself! It is always such a pleasure to meet these tiny people and watch their parents loving them! 

I started the wedding season with Keiran and Taleah’s wedding in January. It was a gorgeous celebration. They were married in a beautiful, old church where Keiran’s grandparents were married, followed by a banquet at The Grounds of Alexandria. This wedding had an intimate, organic feel with a classic style. The locations used on the day supplied us with a variety of backdrops to use to our advantage – this resulted in a delicious, visual feast!

Lovely Elli is getting married in just over a week! I can’t wait to shoot her wedding! Elli was very lucky to win a portrait session with us last year. She chose to use this session creatively and have a pre-wedding session with her best friends – her bridesmaids. This was a pastel summer dress occasion with flowers, a veil and  lots of giggles. This was a great opportunity for Elli to celebrate the coming of her wedding with her best girls. 

Olivia was 8 weeks when we had her session. She had the chubbiest cheeks and hands and legs! The most perfect and squishy little darling! And those big eyes and long lashes! She is a cutie pie that is for sure. Sometimes older newborns are harder to settle, but Olivia was a very good girl for us. This session was taken at Olivia’s home. It has a homely, lifestyle feel. It was such a delight to take photos of Melissa and Dean with their first born child. The start of a new chapter! 

These three sisters were reunited in preparation of their parents 70th Birthday’s. Bec & Jen work internationally in theatre and flew back home to Australia for the occasion. They thought a recent print of the three of them together would be a lovely gift for their parents.

Having grown up in the beautiful Blue Mountains and still home to their mum and dad, we chose Jelly Bean Pool in Glenbrook for the location. These lovely ladies are all very creative, so we had some balloons and some costume changes to make this session more fun and personal. It was really lovely to document them reuniting and I hope that the whole family will enjoy these photographs.

Katrina and I  go way back to the beginning of our days! It is such a blessing to be reunited with people that you have crossed paths with before and it is even more joyous when it is in celebration of an engagement! Dave whisked Katrina away on a surprise trip to the Gold Coast where he asked for her hand. When asking about the proposal, Katrina said – “I wasn’t super happy to be woken up at 4am! But it was definitely worth it!”

This quirky couple infused this session with their personalities (which is always the best!) So, we had bright balloons, we had nerd rope, a broken giant chocolate freckle (which didn’t make it to the session) and a lush orange orchard. Take a look for yourself – It was a fun one!

This was our first ever twin newborn session. At 8 weeks, Isaac and Zayden were a little older than the newborn standard. This meant that they were much stretchier and present. They made us work very hard to get them to sleep and they refused to sleep at the same time! Though we didn’t get the shots we had planned, we got even better ones that included wide eyes and cheeky smiles!

These twins are adorable and so much alike! You’ll get a double dose of adorableness right here!

This was a special family shoot taken for a grandmother who wanted some photos of all of her grandchildren together. Brothers – Andrew and Jayden, had their cousin Shiloh staying with them for a while before the start of the school year. It was a great opportunity to get some photographs of the three of them together and also marked the start of both Jayden & Shiloh starting kindergarten.

These cheeky, little kidlets are sure to bring a smile. They are very cute indeed!
