Holly and Brad are such a fun couple with personality bursting from the seams. Smiles and laughter are completely infectious when in their company. I think they did such a great job putting their own print on their wedding day.
So how did he propose? Well, Holly and Brad have a favourite park that they like to visit to enjoy a picnic every now and again. Brad had prepared a surprise one for Holly, having prepared a rug, basket of goodies and even background music. When they are arrived, Brad began to lead the way to said picnic setup. Hilariously, Holly’s initial reaction was to stop in her path and yell out after him, “Stop Brad! It’s not ours. What are you doing?,” Completely ignoring her concerns, Brad continued on towards the picnic area, Holly reluctantly following behind. Once Brad dropped to one knee, it all pieced together and in utter happiness, Holly began to bawl her eyes out. She can’t even recall if she properly said yes, but she didn’t need to.
Holly and Brad had a whimsy, vintage inspired wedding with tonnes of colour. The ceremony took place inside the enchanting and jaw dropping Secret Circle, followed by a marquee reception all at one of our favourites – Bilpin Resort.
The blooms were wild and vibrant. The dresses were vintage inspired and all in white – yup, even the bridesmaids. I loved the DIY elements included in this celebration – Brad’s dad restored an old Vanguard to transport Holly to the ceremony. This was Brad’s dream and it fitted in with their theme so perfectly. They also had homemade toffee apples (made using local Bilpin produce) as their favours! Absolutely brilliant!
